"The skylines of Ramallah, Bethlehem and the Old City of Jerusalem are a confusion of minarets, spires and domes, each stretching desperately towards the heavens. Looking across the rooftops scattered with crosses, crescents, tv aerials and satellite dishes was like seeing a visual representation of the what each different element of society worship and cling to - the crucifixion of Christ, the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad or the modern day religion of the media, indoctrinating hearts and minds with their addictive, sensational stories. The forms of the TV masts and satellite dishes seemed to be trying to mimic the religious symbols, with their perpendicular lines and curves creating a flimsy imitation of the deeply rooted Abrahamic faiths."
